Die E-Mail an einen Freund
An informal e-mail has a clear frame, and each part has its chunks:
- Anrede: Liebe Sara, / Lieber Jonas, / Hallo Tim,
- Einstieg: Vielen Dank für deine E-Mail. / Entschuldige, dass ich erst jetzt antworte.
- Hauptteil: one short paragraph per Leitpunkt
- Schluss: Schreib mir bald! then Viele Grüße (no comma) and your name on the next line

Tipp
du, dich, dir and dein are normally written lower case in an e-mail: Wie geht es dir? Capital Du and Dir are also allowed in letters.
