The verbs you need when you talk about your phone and the internet:
- herunterladen (to download) — separable: Ich lade die App herunter. Perfekt: heruntergeladen
- sich informieren über + Akkusativ (to find out about, to keep up with): Ich informiere mich im Internet über das Wetter.
- posten, teilen, kommentieren (to post, to share, to comment)
- das soziale Netzwerk, -e — in sozialen Netzwerken (on social media)
Tipp
herunterladen splits like einkaufen: Ich lade die App herunter. In a Nebensatz it joins up again at the end: …, weil ich die App herunterlade.
