sich erholen, sich entspannen, sich ausruhen

Three reflexive verbs for taking a break. They’re close, but not the same:

• sich erholen — to recover (after an illness or a hard time): Ich habe mich im Urlaub gut erholt.
• sich entspannen — to relax: Beim Yoga entspanne ich mich.
• sich ausruhen — to rest (lie down, do nothing): Ich ruhe mich ein bisschen aus.

All three need the reflexive pronoun: Ich erhole mich.
