Goethe oder ÖSD?

The Goethe-Zertifikat B1 and the ÖSD Zertifikat B1 (ZB1) are dieselbe Prüfung (the same exam): the Zertifikat B1 was developed jointly by the Goethe-Institut, the ÖSD and the University of Fribourg. Format, times and the pass line of 60 per module are identical; only the certificate differs.

• Goethe-Zertifikat B1 — the certificate from the Goethe-Institut
• ÖSD Zertifikat B1 (ZB1) — the certificate from the ÖSD; you get the full certificate when you pass all four modules innerhalb eines Jahres at the same exam center

There is also a version of the exam for teenagers (für Jugendliche).
