Nach ein, kein, mein

ein, kein and mein/dein/Ihr have no ending in three places: Nominativ masculine, Nominativ neuter and Akkusativ neuter. There the adjective shows the gender:

• ein netter Chef (der)
• ein kleines Büro (das)

Everywhere else, the endings are the same as after der/die/das: eine nette Kollegin, einen netten Chef, mit meinem neuen Laptop.
