Am Telefon: Nachrichten im Beruf
Phone messages are everyday work German, and an Anruf is one of the short text types in Hören Teil 1 of the Zertifikat B1. A voicemail usually has four parts: who is calling, why, what you should do, how to reach them:
- Hier ist Jana Roth von der Firma Kranz.
- Es geht um Ihre Bewerbung.
- Ich rufe an, um Sie zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch einzuladen.
- Könnten Sie mich bitte zurückrufen?

Days, times and numbers are where the details hide. Write them down while you listen, and watch for changes: fällt aus, verschoben, stattdessen.
