Geld: Konto, Gebühr, Rabatt
Money words you’ll meet in ads, contracts and at the bank:
- das Konto, die Konten — the bank account
- überweisen — to transfer (money)
- die Gebühr, -en — the fee
- der Rabatt, -e — the discount
- sparen — to save
Trap: das Konto has an unusual plural; the usual one is die Konten.
Tip
überweisen is not separable: Ich überweise das Geld. In the Perfekt there is no ge-: Ich habe das Geld überwiesen.
