Prüfung: Hausordnung & formelle E-Mail
Two exam tasks use exactly this unit. The Goethe-Zertifikat B1 and the ÖSD Zertifikat B1 (ZB1) are the same joint exam, so the tasks look the same in both:
- Lesen Teil 5: a text such as a Hausordnung, an Anleitung or a Vertrag, with 4 multiple-choice items (a/b/c), about 10 minutes.
- Schreiben Aufgabe 3: a formal e-mail of circa 40 Wörter, about 15 minutes, worth 20 of the 100 points. The task reminds you: Vergessen Sie nicht die Anrede und den Gruß am Schluss.
Checkpoint: the B1 simulators aren’t online yet. Work through Lesen Teil 5 and Schreiben Aufgabe 3 of the official Modellsatz on the Goethe-Institut or ÖSD website. Every item counts: you need 60 of 100 points to pass the Lesen module.
Tipp
In Lesen Teil 5 the right option often says the same thing in other words: wird abgeholt in the text can become Die Stadt holt … ab in the option. Read for meaning, not for matching words.
