Stellenanzeigen lesen
A German job ad (die Stellenanzeige, -n) usually follows the same pattern: who the company is, what you will do, what they expect and what they offer. The words that carry it:
- die Stelle, -n — the position
- die Voraussetzung, -en — the requirement
- das Gehalt, -“er — the salary
- die Bewerbungsunterlagen (Pl.) — the application documents
Trap: das Gehalt is neuter, and its plural takes an umlaut: die Gehälter.
