Wer ist zuständig?

At the office, the first question is often who handles your case:

• Wer ist für Reisepässe zuständig? — Who is responsible for passports?
• Dafür sind wir nicht zuständig. — That’s not our department.
• politely, with an indirect question from Unit 6: Können Sie mir sagen, wo ich den Antrag abgeben kann?

In an indirect question the verb goes to the end, and a modal verb comes last.
