als oder wenn?

The Unit 1 trap:

• als — one event or one period in the past: Als ich ankam, …
• wenn — repeated events (immer wenn, jedes Mal, wenn) and anything in the present or future

Quick test: one time in the past → als. Everything else → wenn.
