Zustandspassiv: ist ausgefüllt
Not every sein + Partizip II is a Perfekt. Sometimes it describes a state, the result of an action:
- Das Formular wird ausgefüllt. — the action: someone is filling it in
- Das Formular ist ausgefüllt. — the state: it’s done
At B1 recognizing it is the main goal. Signs and offices use it a lot: Das Büro ist heute geschlossen.
