Präposition + Relativpronomen

If the verb needs a preposition, the preposition goes to the front of the relative clause, and the pronoun takes the case the preposition wants:
Trap: German doesn’t leave the preposition at the end like English “the apartment I live in”.
Tabelle
| Präposition | Kasus | Beispiel |
|---|---|---|
| in (wo?)
Tipp
Two steps: the noun gives the gender (der/die/das), the preposition gives the case. Preposition + pronoun stand together right after the comma.
