Unit 04 · Media and opinions
In B1 Schreiben Aufgabe 2 you post your opinion in a forum; in Lesen Teil 4 you work out what other people think. Unit 4 builds both: media vocabulary, opinion phrases and the connectors that turn an opinion into an argument.
- media words: die Nachricht, der Beitrag, die Sendung, herunterladen
- your opinion with Ich bin der Meinung, dass … and Meiner Meinung nach …
- reasons, results and contrasts: weil/da/denn, deshalb, obwohl/trotzdem, sondern
- two-part connectors from nicht nur … sondern auch to zwar … aber
- the five-part Forumsbeitrag, and reading Leserbriefe for dafür or dagegen
Checkpoint: the last lesson prepares Schreiben Aufgabe 2 (Forumsbeitrag, circa 80 Wörter) and Lesen Teil 4 (7 × ja/nein) of the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 and the ÖSD Zertifikat B1 (ZB1), to practice with the official Modellsatz.
