So funktioniert das Zertifikat B1
The Zertifikat B1 has four Module — Lesen, Hören, Schreiben and Sprechen — and each one is scored out of 100. You pass a module (bestanden) with 60 Punkten or more:
- Lesen — 65 Minuten, 5 Teile
- Hören — circa 40 Minuten, 4 Teile
- Schreiben — 60 Minuten, 3 Aufgaben
- Sprechen — circa 15 Minuten in pairs, after 15 Minuten Vorbereitungszeit
Trap: there’s no total score to rescue a weak module. Each one needs its own 60.

Tip
No dictionary in the exam. In Lesen and Hören every item counts the same, so 18 of 30 correct items make 60 points.
